I chose Japan because I wanted to learn and experience the Japanese language and culture in a more direct and meaningful way. I had been interested in Japanese for a long time and had continued studying it on my own. However, after a certain point, I began to feel that studying only through books was limiting my progress. This led me to realize that actually living in Japan, using Japanese naturally in daily life, and interacting with local people would be essential for improving my language skills and deepening my understanding of the culture.
I chose Hyogo because I was drawn to the opportunity to experience both urban life and nature. I was especially interested in the fact that Kobe, a city with a unique atmosphere and diverse culture, is nearby, while the area around Hyogo University also offers a calm and nature-rich environment where I believed I could focus on my studies.
Through studying abroad at Hyogo University, I hope to further improve my Japanese ability, gain new experiences through interactions with many people, and grow personally through adapting to a new environment.
