The reason I decided to study in Japan stems from my deep interest in the history of Japan’s economic development and its unique economic system. Although Japan is a major economic power in Asia, it also faces modern challenges such as social security reform, an aging and declining population, and the revitalization of regional economies. I have become eager to systematically study how Japan addresses these complex economic issues through policy measures and data analysis at a Japanese university.
Furthermore, Japanese universities offer not only theoretical education, but also practical learning based on empirical analysis and real-world economic policies. Their curricula cover a wide range of fields, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, public economics, and monetary policy. I aspire to contribute to the development of economic policy and private-sector economic activities in my home country in the future, and I believe that studying in Japan will equip me with the necessary knowledge and analytical skills to achieve this goal.
In addition, I believe that Japan is not only advanced in terms of its economy, but also has a well-developed cultural and social system. Living in such a multicultural environment will broaden my perspective. I am also highly motivated to learn the Japanese language, and I hope to enhance my ability to comprehend economic data and academic papers written in Japanese.
