My dream is to become a flight attendant. To achieve this, I need to learn about many cultures and be able to communicate fluently in various languages. To realize my dream, I came to study at Ashiya University, which has a Tourism and Aviation course.I first saw Japanese dramas, movies, anime, Japanese cities, buildings, and culture when I was in junior high school, and I knew I had to go to Japan.I was preparing to study abroad while taking Japanese language classes in high school.I thought that during my study abroad I would be able to learn about many cultures through international exchange with non-Korean students. Also, since there are English classes, I would like to study for the TOEIC, which is necessary for finding a job. The university is located between Kobe and Osaka, so I am looking forward to experiencing sightseeing while studying.I want to study Japanese conversation and Japanese kanji as hard as I can. My Japanese language skills are not good enough yet, so I only have basic conversation and writing skills. I would like to make Japanese friends at the university to improve my Japanese language skills, and I will also work on classes to study Kanji.I want to participate in English and business classes as hard as I can and do my best in my studies. I plan to take JLPT N2 or higher after returning to Japan after completing one year of study abroad.

In these six months at Ashiya University, I've had many experiences outside of class.
In the summer, I went on a field trip to Awaji Green Park and visited the botanical garden. I could see plants and nature that I don't usually get to see.
The view of the Awaji Strait was especially wonderful, and visiting such a place on a school field trip was a very refreshing experience.
In the second semester class “Tourism Service Theory,” I visited the Emirates Airlines office and asked questions in Japanese and English about my dream of becoming a flight attendant, which helped me resolve some points I was concerned about.
The valuable time spent talking directly with the staff working there increased my motivation to pursue my dream. I gained insights that I would never have known without asking directly, such as the attention to detail in the uniforms, hairstyles, and even nails. There were various hands-on exhibits in the exhibition hall, and it was very meaningful to be able to experience them as part of the class.
Through these experiences, I feel that I am growing in my school life in Japan. Thank you very much for giving me these opportunities again.
I shall continue to be a student who works even harder.
