The purpose of the program is to learn the Japanese language and culture and to take what I have learned back to my alma mater, Trinity University of Asia. In addition, my learnings from this program are beneficial to my students at Trinity University of Asia High School. After the program, I will be a Nihongo teacher to the students and share with them what I have learned and experienced. Being in the country and dealing with native speakers will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me considering the costs that I myself will not be able to suffice. For 10 months, I will be studying in Japan specifically at Kobe International University. The 10 months of this program will be beneficial to my personal and professional growth as I deal with new challenges and brace them with optimism.
