I have been thinking about studying abroad since I traveled overseas for the first time. At that time, I witnessed so many things that I had never experienced in Japan, and I realized how the world can be big and wild If I could just experience it directly. That is what makes me motivated me to study English and to travel around the world. During the pandemic, we went through a long period where we could not go overseas. However, after entering my current university, I took a great opportunity to study abroad at UIUC. During my study abroad, I would like to improve several skills. My English skills are one of the main targets to improve. Moreover, my communication skills also need to improve through this study abroad program. Once I enter UIUC, I would like to take courses related to communications and join some student organizations to get to know local communities. Also, I want to fully experience daily life in the US. Considering that it will be completely different from Japan, it going to be really challenging.
