Azmi Arsysuci Putichania
Hello everyone. My name is Azmiarushi Stiptichania and I am studying at Sonoda Women's University. I have been living in Japan for about 5 months. I did a lot of things while I was in Japan. I gained a lot of important experiences both at university and outside of university. Since this was my first time going abroad, there were many challenges, but I have been able to overcome them all.
Before coming to Japan, I was not able to go anywhere by myself. But now that I am in Japan alone, I have learned that I have to go everywhere by myself. This was a positive change for me and I was very impressed.
Before going to Japan, I had no experience in doing activities outside of the university, but in Japan I participated in volunteer activities. Besides, the most enjoyable experience for me was my home-stay. I studied about Japanese people and Japanese families at Bung Hatta University. It was great to see firsthand the Japanese family's way of doing things during the homestay.
I have always loved Japanese culture. I had seen traditional things from anime, so I wanted to see a variety of traditional things while I was in Japan. I participated in a tea ceremony with other international students at the university, which was interesting. I also participated in a Japanese sweets workshop in Kyoto with the university president and visited Himeji Castle. I also saw a festival in Nishinomiya during my volunteer experience. I was happy to learn about traditional things.
Then, I have never experienced cold winter because Indonesia is not a country of four seasons. Now it is my first winter, so it is very difficult. But the good thing is that I have only seen the four seasons in Japan through movies before, but now I can feel them directly in Japan. I am looking forward to spring and summer.
The experience of studying in Japan is a very important for me. I would like to do many things during my stay in Japan.

Azmi Arsysuci Putichania
Hello everyone. My name is Azmi Arsysuci Putichania and I came to Japan to study on September 7, 2023. I studied at Sonoda Women's University. I studied not only Japanese but also many other things here. I also studied Japanese culture outside of the university. There were many things I did not understand, so I learned even the smallest things. For example, I learned how to ride the train.
In the past, I could not go anywhere by myself. Since I was living alone for the first time in Japan, I tried to do everything by myself. However, I made new friends and was able to go out with them. My friends taught me many things. When I talked with my friends, I liked to study young people's language.
It was very convenient to study Japanese in Japan. I could speak Japanese everyday. I don't like kanji very much, but everywhere I went I saw kanji, and little by little I learned more and more of them.
When I return to Indonesia, I will have no one to speak Japanese with. If I don't use Japanese at all, I will probably forget it. Therefore, I am going to teach Japanese at a Japanese language school that I have joined in the past. Now I am teaching online about Japan to my friends who like Japan. I am glad that my friends are enjoying it.
This semester I am continuing my studies at Bung hatta University again. I still have two more years to go before I graduate, and within those two years I hope to pass the N1 exam. After graduation, I want to go back to Japan and work wherever I want.
I am done studying in Japan, but I will continue to do what I want to do and study new things and do my best.
