I am a student studying intellectual property rights in Korea. As I learned about copyright and how it applies to games and animations, I became interested in the content itself. I wanted to create content that could be copyrighted. And I found out that Japan's copyright law had a lot of influence on Korea. Therefore, I became curious about Japan, and started to get to know Japan, which is called a content powerhouse. I started watching various animations, and I felt the interest in Japanese, which has a similar pronunciation to Korean, but has a different way of speaking. I came into contact with Japanese culture through various contents. With this opportunity, I started studying Japanese, and in my third year of study, I traveled to Osaka and Kyoto. I really like the unique atmosphere of this place, and I felt even greater joy meeting various people and having conversations in Japanese little by little. I was treated very kindly and left with good memories. The thought of wanting to live in Japan continued to grow. I applied for a Japanese exchange student because I wanted to live in Japan, learn the culture deeply, and learn various contents and marketing methods. Because culture can never be learned only in theory, I have to face it myself. I believe this study abroad will make that possible. Korea and Japan are similar but have many differences, so I want to know the various aspects of Japan that I did not know about. I believe true communication will become possible when we understand each other's culture and values.

When I was able to study in Japan, I was able to pass by supporting foreign activities that communicate Japanese culture through video clips. This makes my study abroad life more meaningful. I'm happy to be able to convey my experience and thoughts to others. I look at every corner of Japan and record it while traveling to various places. It is also connected to my dream of creating and managing content, and it is a big stepping stone. Specifically, after finishing my study abroad life, I would like to be a bridge between Korea and Japan, which manages various contents of Japan, brings them to Korea, produces them, and deals with copyrights. Studying abroad in Japan is linked to the work of planning various contents, and I think it is very useful for practical communication. If you can experience and see various aspects of Japanese culture and content that are constantly developing, it will be of great help in planning the content in the future. I learn as much as I can while looking at and understanding Japan as a public rather than just a Japanese student. I felt that the atmosphere of the drama and the atmosphere of the entertainment industry are very different between Korea and Japan. I'd like to learn how small things can make such a difference, and how to teach content in Japan. Also, I intend to improve my Japanese skills. My goal is to grow to the point where my conversation and writing skills are reasonable. Also, if you listen to the lecture in Japanese and think about it, my listening skills will improve. I want to live actively and live an unforgettable life as an international student. Based on this experience, I would like to become a person who leads exchanges between Korea and Japan, and even with the world.

I have about 3 months left to study abroad. Looking back, I think I was able to meet really good friends and have a lot of fun experiences. The biggest change for me is that I have small talk with people I meet while traveling alone. In Korea, where I am shy and think it is rude to give attention to others, I rarely interact with people I meet for the first time. However, many Japanese restaurants and shopping districts are interested in being Korean, and in Izakaya, where I often go, I talk with the president and regular customers. I thought it was the biggest advantage of showing Japan's friendly side because it always warms my heart.
In addition to this, it was good to experience various cultures that I don't know. I heard about Furisode from Buddy and went to see the cheering car on the day of the shoot. It was amazing that the culture of wearing traditional Japanese clothes every anniversary without losing them was established. I also experienced Japanese summer for the first time. I was surprised by the tremendous heat, but I learned the convenience of mass production and it was fun to see many festivals and events to overcome the heat. I visited various Matsuri, and it was amazing to see many people wearing kimonos. I thought it would be better for Korea to make more use of Hanbok. I was also happy to experience various Japanese foods that I had never eaten, such as Motsunabe, Monjayaki, Akashiyaki, and Yakiniku. I was happy to know things that I wouldn't have known if I hadn't experienced it in Japan. I will learn and experience more so that I don't feel sorry for the rest of my study abroad.

The year-long exchange student is over. When I first applied for an exchange student in Japan, I learned more about various Japanese cultures, including copyright and marketing, and I thought that I would like to be a bridge between the two countries. I was able to solidify my thinking after learning properly in Japan for a year. The best part was that I was able to expand my thoughts such as speaking my thoughts and what I would do if I conducted marketing with a slightly different way of education from Korea. I am also glad that I was able to learn various ways of thinking and perspectives by listening to other students' opinions. My future goal is to acquire N1 and SJPT to further improve my Japanese proficiency, manage various contents, and continue to learn about Japan. I am really happy to think that this year has been filled with only good memories. I started with hesitation and fear, but contrary to what I thought, Japan felt so warm and friendly. Now that I have returned to Korea, I am preparing for the JLPT and TOEIC exams and am working hard to become an international talent. Also, I heard that my friends I met in Japan are preparing for employment, so I look forward to the day when we meet again after they get a job. I am glad to have such a precious relationship. Thanks to HUMAP, I was able to go from place to place and experience various things more actively. I also want to express my gratitude to all my friends at Kobe Gakuin University and the teachers at the Center for International Exchange. I am grateful that this year has been filled with various memories, and I will never forget it in my lifetime.
