Introduction
I am a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Udayana University. I am a nurse holding a master's degree in public health. My research interest is about cognitive and mental health problems of the elderly, especially with dementia and wellness tourism. In addition, I am interested in elderly care facilities and dementia prevention programs in communities. On this visit, I intend to learn about dementia prevention, elderly care, and the development of professional wellness tourism at Kobe Women's University and several Institutions in Japan.

Purposes of the visit
The purpose of the visit is to share and change ideas, and discuss about the care facilities, strategy of dementia prevention in the community, the nursing roles of wellness tourism development, cultural exchange, and establish research collaboration which at the end can strengthen the academic and research collaboration between Kobe Women’s University and Udayana University.

Activities

The activity began with a meeting to equalize the perceptions of the team led by Associate Prof. Ai Kimura. The activity schedule has been prepared with several achievement targets that are strived to be fulfilled by the HORN program reference framework that has been planned.

Activities carried out in a comprehensive manner include case studies, visits to elderly care service facilities, activities for the elderly in the community, exploration of health tourism, international seminars, scientific discussions, joint article writing, and cultural performances. In detail described as follows:

First Week,
At the beginning of the meeting, a discussion was held with Prof. Kajiwara, and Associate Prof. Ai Kimura to identify several problems related to elderly welfare and quality of life. Discussion activities were also carried out with several teaching staff at Kobe Woman University. This week I collaborated with the teaching staff to collect references related to articles that will be made to be finalized and published internationally. Other activities undertaken include preparing posters for international seminars and presentation materials. The meeting was held with the international section of Kobe Woman University Prof. Kasumi Noguchi With Ass. Prof. Chamchong Pobsook from Chiangmai University (Thailand) is to be introduced to all the leaders of Kobe Woman University.
A good opportunity has been given to me by Prof. Kajiwara to deliver article on Travel health Nursing which is one of the flagship programs at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The meeting was attended by several seniors and teams to discuss opportunities to develop wellness tourism and medical tourism in the future.

Second week,
In the second week, an international seminar was held with the topic Case study report: The role of Community in Thailand and Indonesia. The international seminar speaker, namely Ass. Prof. Chamchong Pobsook from Chiangmay University and Kadek Eka Swedarma from Udayana University. The host of the seminar was Prof. Noguchi and Associate Prof. Ai Kimura from Kobe Woman's university.
The next activity was a visit to the Ai No Sono elderly care home. I was allowed to discuss with some of the staff, and students and give a Balinese mask dance for the elderly as a cultural exchange activity. The elderly are quite interactive watching and listening to the dance.
I also participated as an observer in a meeting of the Committee for the Elderly in the Port Island area where Kobe Women's University is located.
One of the interesting places visited was the railway museum and cultural center in Kyoto with Prof. Taeko Izumi and Ai Kimura. I have had the opportunity to wear Japanese clothing and go around to witness some of the cultural performances there.

Third week,
This week's activities focused more on exploring wellness tourism as a support for improving the quality of life for people with disabilities including preventing dementia in the elderly according to the topics that had been proposed in the HORN program activities.
Visits were carried out to nursing homes for the elderly and persons with disabilities in the Osaka area. This institution was founded by the owner to accommodate the elderly and persons with disabilities around the area. Several services are provided at the institution to improve individual abilities and quality of life. On this occasion, I also had the opportunity to perform a Balinese mask dance for the elderly.
Very interesting experience when visiting Naoshima Island. So many historical stories as well as the development of famous architectural models. This location is very relevant to individuals to reduce stress, take a vacation and improve their quality of life. Apart from enjoying the beautiful nature, I also identified several things related to dementia prevention strategies and wellness tourism efforts.

Fourth week,
The visit was carried out to the Tarumi Sumire elderly care service Institution. The opportunity to convey material about Balinese culture was given at that time. I convey the efforts to prevent dementia in Bali and Kobe. The discussion activity was attended by the elderly and several staff who were there. I also performed Balinese dances to increase the sense of brotherhood and intimacy as a means of culture. Another activity was in the form of discussions with teaching staff at Kobe Woman University regarding programs and problems both in Japan and in Indonesia.

I got all very interesting experiences and a high sense of friendship with my friends and seniors in implementing the HORN program in 2023. I am very grateful to have been well received. I really hope to return to Kobe, Japan to discuss and develop projects to improve the quality of life in both Kobe Japan, and Bali Indonesia.

The HORN program activities are very useful in efforts to develop strategies to improve the quality of life of the community. The output of this activity is reports and drafts of scientific publications related to dementia prevention and wellness tourism. I hope that scientific articles that have been made can then be finalized and published in international journals as a form of collaboration between Kobe Woman University and Udayana University.

My thanks to the HORN Program, Kobe Woman University, Udayana University, and all seniors and the team, I hope this is useful.
