During these 3 weeks, I had a great time in Mukogawa Women’s University. The dormitory was very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful. I like the shower and the bathroom the most. They are good places to relax after a long day. In this report, I am going to talking about what I did and what I like in these 3 weeks.
Week 1: The staff from Mukogawa Women’s University international centre were very friendly. We had a few welcome parties including the welcome ceremony, welcome party in the dormitory and welcome party with Japanese students. They were great time to make friends with Japanese students as well as the international students. We also went to kindergarten and played games with them. I was so surprised when they spoke English to me. My favourite part is home stay. They showed me around Kobe and Osaka and we made Takoyaki together. They were all so nice and kind.
Week 2: I had more interaction with Japanese students in this week during the classes, such as Japanese dance, show and tell, children’s fun and global environmental concerns. Some of the Japanese students may not speak English fluently but they were so nice and tried to explain and talk to us. The rice cake making class was also fun as we were able to have a go and ate. They were yummy. My favourite part in week 2 is the tours. I enjoyed feeding the deer and Himeji castle was amazing.
Week 3: I had a great time during the exchange meeting class. They introduced me different types of boy and their university life. I also had a calligraphy class. we made our own bookmarks and hand fan and exchanged a message/drawing with a Japanese student. It was fun.
Overall, although every day was so busy, it was very enjoyable. Japanese language classes provided me opportunity to practise speaking and listening. In addition, Japanese food is so delicious and clothes are so pretty. I wish I can stay in Japan for longer.
