There are many reason why I wanted to study abroad. But my main purpose was to learn Japanese and to be immersed into Japanese culture/learn about the culture as well. Another reason why I wanted to study abroad is to get out of my comfort zone and to go study in another country. Because I believe that this experience will change my life in a positive way.

So far, while studying abroad, I miss home sometimes. But I mainly miss my friends and the food back in Chicago. But while I am here in Japan, I made so many memories. I am defiently going to miss all my friends who are with me in the program and I am going to miss all the Japanese students I became close to. I will never forget this experience, and this study abroad trip is making me into the man I am today. Thank you to everyone and I will keep doing my best to improve my Japanese and learning new things everyday!

Studying abroad has opened a lot of new doors for me. I've learned more about myself during my stay here in Japan. But also study abroad has taught me about the stuff that I can't do. But with that, I do have some future goals, but the main one that I am striving for is to come back to Japan and to live here for the rest of my life. Another future goal is that I want to improve my Japanese skills so that I can interact with Japanese people. But with all of this, I loved spending my time here and I wish to come back soon.
